State of Arizona – 90-Day Liquor Licensing Payment Relief
Agency / Department: State of Arizona
Resource: 90-Day Liquor Licensing Payment Relief
Details: To provide additional assistance to restaurants and bars facing loss due to COVID-19, Governor Doug Ducey today announced the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control will defer the payment of all liquor licensing fees by 90 days. Previously, missing a liquor licensing payment period could result in a restaurant’s inability to sell liquor or even the loss of its liquor license. Today’s action fulfills a request by Arizona small business coalitions and provides additional financial relief to establishments and small businesses that could have faced penalties for late fees come April 1.
